About as reliable as a politicians word before an election.
Anyone who owned one or a Jag of that era always had 2 cars, the second one was because the Daimler/Jag was always in the work shop. Thats why they all have low kays.
If you can get it cheap enough and do an engine conversion as suggested then it might be worthwhile.
