Mitsubishi Australia's future is very shaky. Even if they sell 30,000+ cars locally of the new 380 model each year they will not break even. They have no export 380 model and this is where Mitsubishi Australia made the bulk of their money in the past.
The only question which comes to my mind is if Mitsubishi Australia will beat Leyand Australia's dubious record. The P76 was released in June 1973 and cancelled in October 1974.
How long will the 380 last?
