I think your a little lost here. Ford sells the most (or at least were until a couple months back) AUSTRALIAN built vehicles. Toyota sells the MOST vehicles. Holden sells the most of ONE model.
Its a fluff piece and like the cop cars and all the other spin, will amount to nothing. Good on Holden for.....errrm well making an after tax profit due to Australian Government handouts (hey no doubt Ford did too) and spending millions on BS programs so people can keep believing GM Holden is doing so well. Export of a $45,000 ute to USA. exchange is what currently? Do the maths and you'll find there's no money in it. But lets throw tax dollars to a company that just wants to stay in the news with positive fluff pieces about rainbows and lollypops.
Good luck to all companies, but remove the Aus government safety net and I bet you Holden will stop pretending their a major player. /end rant
