It was awful but there was nothing i could do, basically the only time i saw him was on impact. Five years later when he turned 21 i was handed a writ from the family trying to sue me. This is why pedestrians should take more ownership on their own safety and not the drivers through laws that will not stop the stupidity of pedestrians but infact encourage it as they feel safer.
