importing car from SE Asia?

Hey guys,
Probably a long shot here, but has anyone ever shipped a vehicle from South East Asia, particularly Thailand? Interested in good or bad recommendations for carriers, any info about customs requirements etc.
Car is mid 70's and still wearing South Australian plates so I'd assume rego won't be an issue once it's here.
Will it the phones Monday to shipping agents, but any info would be appreciated.
