The only difference is that the RX8 was a good seller, only wrapping up production this year since starting in 2001 because they are having trouble with emissions standards IRRC.
Not to mention the RX8 looks a hell of a lot better than this concept.
The Monaro, the other mentioned rear wheel drive coupe in this thread, also started sales in 2001 and last sold in 2006.
Im with the rest of you, I cant see it going far if Monaro only lasted 5 an a bit years.
