So a new GT-HO would be true to the original reason. Win on Sunday sel on Monday doesn't apply anymore, so why not use it now - to sell more cars? If they did create one, I would be back in the market, and I have bought a modern GT.

I am glad they did bring back the GT, but the HO was built to destroy the competition on the track which it did. At that point in time, to race any car, a certain number was required to be produced. Allan Moffat was part of creating this car to go to Bathurst. Promoting the brand and win on Sunday sell on Monday was just the effect of the weekend. If they build the GTHO it won't be a road going race car. Just another GT unfortunately. Better off being creative like they used to be, and ending with a one off.
