Default Re: Lying mechanic

As someone who has worked with a major car company for 5 years I do have to agree that this goes on alot, but mechanics are generally very busy... It's not in and out like people think, there are cars that get delayed because they find something else after they start work, or they're waiting on a part, or they're trying to get a hold of the owner to see if they can proceed with the work needed so the next cars in line get pushed back. Unfortunately nothing they can do, I mean you are happy with their service right? Even if they take a bit longer? I'd rather take my car to a good mechanic and wait a little longer than take it to someone who gets it in and out without going that extra mile to make sure they are giving it back 100%

This actually reminds me of a picture I saw online and it said something like this:

Hourly mechanic rates:
If you leave it $100/hr
If you call continuously $110/hr
If you stay $115/hr
If you watch $120/hr
If you offer your advice $130/hr
If you've messed with it beforehand $140/hr
If you've messed with it and don't tell us $150/hr

Lol...
