Had a Mk1 Sprite for several years and am still here! 650kg, worked 1330 motor and no mod cons :-) was good for 150km/h till the fibreglass bonnet would start to flex.. I nicknamed it the 'street legal coffin'.
Loved it and still miss it. Would go old school over a new one just for the simple pleasure of seat of your pants driving.
