As said the Euros including Mercs and BMW’s have had carpet material as sound deadening in the rear wells for years.
I find it very easy to clean, it always looks in good condition and it's as tuff as.
Much better than the effort it takes to keep the black plastic ones in good nick.
They should do the fronts as well.
