Ford has always tended not to let its class leading models sell for the same price as all the other rubbish out there. The ranger is the world ute of the year at least a couple of times allready. You get what you pay for and as in fords case....it's been covered soooo many times.....they have class leading models in nearly every segment......so why would you lowwer your prices to the cheaper built cars? You loose what little self imposed prestige each model owns.
That's how I see it anyhow!
