I nearly DID go for the EVO9. For the purpose of the car, ie. a balls-out rocket, it got my vote over the "softer" tuned 2.5L in the STi. Funny thing is I was closer to getting the MY05 STi than the new one
It was a 4+ way decision for me, including these two, the Liberty GT (including STi model), and 350z. Ended up getting none of them, but rather, another investment property which isn't any fun at all to drive
Bottom line is you can't go wrong with either!
