Shannons seems to be the go if you want to pay plenty of $$ for little cover, I think those saying Shannon is great, would be interesting to see how much premium you are paying in relation to what value.

I used to be with Shannons until they relentlessly increased premiums and dropped value, then when it came time for a claim they were a PITA, recommending sub standard repairers, car ended up two completely different shades of colour, ie front half of car was nice shiny paint and rear half was 30 year old paint, they did not even attempt to blend it in or even give it a buff and polish.

Eventually prompted to me to take the car off the road and pay for a full respray out of my own pocket

Anyway I get $35K cover for $207 including free windscreen and fixed $500 no claim bonus on my XB GS ute for limited use 1-2 drives per fortnight or $285 for three drives per week. Never asked about unlimited use as I don't drive that much with a company car and a family car.
