Land Rover hasn’t used the Lion V6 for a couple of years now, the 3.0 I-6 Ingenium diesel took over.
The crank and rods the 3.0 V6 were upgraded to forgings when used as Powerstroke in F150 and new Ranger…
Incidentally, cracking in the cast cranks was traced to a machining fault on the front rod pair rear journal.
