Now that’s a very interesting question.
It would seem that diesels are ideal for fuel economy if there’s lots of highway running.
If it’s mostly city stop go running then the petrol hybrid may be a better choice because
of consistently cheaper fuel costs and no problems with diesel adblue and blocked cat converters.
I guess it’s up to each buyer to work out where the sweet spot is for them and their budget.
