I'm 99% sure that it was caused by the dealer. This car I've owned since new so pretty sure it wasn't like it before.

I'm still thinking of going back but doubt anything would get done. I'll definitely send the manager (who I get on well with) an email.

I'm unsure whether to try and rectify it or leave it until after I've contacted the dealer in case they want to look at it. Not happy!

I don't want to be that guy but it looks like it's been rubbed with a scourer.
This makes me wonder when if ever dealerships will get their detailing department for Pre delivery, used car reconditioning and service vehicle washing properly setup and either train their staff or find better people.
I know many say dealers don't care and perhaps that's true.

I hope you can get that sorted, B pillars that are piano black can be done but certainly cannot be buffed many times.
All that I've heard from one place's PD manager is that if they dont train them their shit and if they do train their staff they leave thinking they can start a detailing business and make more money (some have though many fail)

I'd love to train them and get their departments setup in a far better way but honestly would they ever pay any money to do it, even if it reduced their costs and made staff more productive and efficient. Maybe not.

They only seem to care about selling cars and aftermarket protection products and servicing and screw anything else. alot of them anyhow
