This would have benefit to a multitude of high tech industries especially bio medical which will be keeping older bastards like me alive and functioning

Think Cochlear ear implant and the like.

10-15 years is the expected time-frame for 3d printed organs. But that figure could purely be to get as much funding as possible.

They should send a few of these drills to the Collingwood Football Club, in case any of their members require Brain surgery.
