Default Xt Gt

4 Years ago I bought a genuine 1968 XT GT it needed a total restore and I started dismantaling it and mounted it on a rotisorie, the car was polar white when I bought it but as I started to strip the car down I noticed traces of a yellow colour under door hinges etc, the yellow colour seemed to me to be the original colour as it was the first coat of paint on the car. I checked on the internet and found there were a few XTGTs painted in Springtime yellow, I had a look at some pictures on the internet of cars the same colour mostly mustangs and thought it was a great colour, my GT is now fully restored licenced & painted springtime yellow. What I would like to know does anyone the the exact number of XTGTs painted this colour and how many are still out there. PS the colour code on the ID plate is A

Lets see if I can do this. This was my Sprintime yellow XT GT back in the early 80's. Original registration number was Kef 966 I think. She was an auto. Too much for the original auto so had a reco c4 fitted .

Had a 9" detroit locker diff, XB discs, 30 thou over bore, holly, edelbrock torker manifold, and a crane cam. Used to go very well! Sold it to a nice bloke in Laverton Melbourne who did a lot of work on the paint rubbers etc. Looked a million dollars last time I saw it with globe mags. Offered it back to me but I couldn't quite afford it at the time....still kicking myself.
If anyone know where it is I would love to see her again.

That would be great! I would love to come have a look at her some time if that was alright....even if that was at a car show. She was a really nice car to drive and with the engine mods that I had done, very bloody quick as well.
I assume she is still in Victoria.
