Hey,
So I've got a dual sub setup in my boot and when I power up the system I get a massive load of boot vibration. Now I've got the numberplate done, when I press on the boot garnish, pushing towards the car the boot rattle goes away. Besides dynamat which I already know is a remedy. What else could be recommended to get rid of majority of the vibration? Cheers, Alex |

the gaps between the metal, should be able to see where the holes are and all that, then cover with dynamat, the whole boot lid, then put a carpet over it.
Be sure you figure out how the carpet goes on before you foam it and dynamat it. Start spraying the foam as far down as you can, then work your way up. Iv personally never used the stuff so thats about as much info as i can give ya. But it works well.

be very careful using the expanding foam around the boot garnrish/boot lock as it can jam up the lock and ya boot wont open(from experiance)
also be careful of over spray with the foam as it stick like hell to anything and everything. jaycar sell sound deadener for about 30 bucks a roll and it works exacly the same as the dynomat. |
