Hi Guys
I just did a vehicle search on an xb and got a PPRS certificate. The plates and passenger side tower number match. The vehicle is in QLD and as far as I know the past two owners didn't have it registered. (At least the last owner bought it unregistered) details Search Criteria Details Motor Vehicle Number :JG65xxxxxxxx (12 characters long) Registration State : Current Registration Details No registration exists for this Vehicle So does that mean it has come back clean? Bit confusing cause it says the rego state is current yet there are no details. I know it has been off the road for years. Thanks

I love ebay !! I love buying a car through the post. I love the challenge of the jigsaw pieces (at $200 a part). I love it when people list a part as fitting a van, sedan or coupe. I love it even more when you pick up a part and they honestly cant remember if it came from a coupe or a sedan. I love my wife carrying a bumperbar up the hill to put in the car after I got it delivered to her work. Yeah Yeah. No better way to rebuild a car.. |

that means registration in terms of encumbered or not
since no 'registration' exists for your car then yes nobody has registered an interest in/against it you do a check on rego via each states rego authority |

By the way when doing a PPRS check ,make sure it is the genuine Government site here: https://www.ppsr.gov.au/start-your-q...vehicle-search not the numerous and much more expensive Veda operated sites posing as the Government site with similar names you'll find with first a Google search on "REVS" or PPRS" (e.g. http://www.ppsr.com.au/revs-check?gc...FYGavAoduGMFLg and http://www.ppsr.com.au/?gclid=CM2Yv4...FVMAvAodjnkFcw and http://www.revs.com.au/?gclid=CPmkxZ...FVgmvQodwn0NkA) Although there is no Government Coat of Arms on these sites, the only place you'll actually find Veda mentioned is in the fine print in the "Terms and Conditions" that appear at the foot of the page and you won't know about them until a sometimes reoccurring Veda "subscription" charge pops up on your credit card. I am usually very cautious and aware of such things and I still got caught. But Amex reversed the charges when I questioned what they were for. See http://www.productreview.com.au/p/veda-advantage.html for more on Veda and why the zero star rated.
