Default Au2 brake/tail light holder assembly availability

G'day guys and girls, I just pulled out my driver side tail light assembly because the tail light would go out when I put the brakes on.with brakes off they were fine, and the brake lights were also working fine IF the tail lights weren't on. On closer inspection, the tail/stop globe holder has a number of. Racks in it, with a very small wedge shaped piece broken off. I've glued it back together, but know it's only a short term fix. Does anyone know whether new globe holders are available. On eBay there is a listing for the tail/stop light holder suitable for ef,El and au1 falcons, I can't seem to find any for the au2. You're help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

The loom for the tail lights in my AUIII is only a foot long and can be unplugged. I got a couple of 2nd hand ones. They are very expensive from Ford.

noooo don't cut it off!!!!
as MNM96 says, they have a connector only about a foot up from the bulb holders, just gotta push the grommet out from the body.
Back 10 years ago (literally) they were only about $30 from a fraud stealership iirc
