Dickie seats in a AU

G'day, I am knew to this site, I currently own a au (99model) and have just purchased proper Ford factory Dickie seats for it of Ebay.
I was wondering are the holes already in the floor or will they need to be measured and drilled?

Not to sure what else, is needed. I'd say there'd be some bolts there. Ask Casper though.

There are actually 4 mounting points - they have square plastic covers over them. Pull the covers off and the seat should "click" in. The seatbelts etc should be mounted to the seat already, so no extra mounting points will be needed.

I'm not too sure about the AU but I will tell you one thing, it needs to be engineered. Adding extra seats to any vehicle requires an engineering certificate or insurance can void you at will. Especially if someone in those dickie seats gets injured. It is one of the really critical points about these seats. If your compliance plate is only for 5 passengers... you need to get the installation certified.

Maybe in Victoria. My parents had a dickie seat installed in their car. Done through a registered installer. All the old man had to do was pay the money, drop the car off for a day and pick it up. Done deal. The ford dealer even provided them with a name of an installer

Applies in Qld to. Most of the registered installers do the engineering cert as part of the install, thats how ours was done. WE have the big Qld roads plate attached in the engine bay to show it. All part of a registered installers service... hence the "registered" part of the name.
