Default knock noise

when i spin the wheels round corners or when i give it stick from 1st to second i get a knock noise coming from the back of the car, i would rather get the problem fixed before it turns into something major, its been like it since i brought the car. i am guessing that it is the uni joint going from tailshaft to diff. is their anyway of testing this or if anyone knows what the problem is it would be great to know. cheers!

Most likely not the unis. Probably shagged rear arm bushes. Get the upper and lower arms bushes looked at.

yeah stuffed shocks would make a bit of noise. I'd look at the control arms too, see if there is any play in them. The best thing i ever did to my EA was replace the rear lower control arms with box nolathane arms, huge differance!@
