i want to put a tacho guage and shift light into my AU but can't get it to work. Can anyone help me. i got a drift neo series gauge but won't read the signal.
is there a modulator to fix this problem or something the ford dealers told me to tap into the ecu pin45 'clean tacho output' Last edited by zippy450; 28-07-2006 at 01:46 PM. Reason: more info |

What wires have you taped into what.

what colour is that wire, also try a search in the au.falcon part of the website for keywords

auto elect says it tan with orange on pin 43
ford dealer says it is pink with dark blue on pin 45 |

i dont have the AU pinouts, try the technical section or possibly www.fordmods.com (the EF layout should be close)

as far as i know, the Tacho wire is the pink one :P

it is all working now the auto elect books were wrong and the right wire to tap into is the pink with dark blue strip. thanks to all for help
