Default Major Service...

Hey,

My dual fuel AU is in need of a major service...It's making a "clunking" noise when put into Drive or Reverse it also takes a couple of seconds to engage into those gears! Does anyone have any idea on why it does this?

It just general needs a major service of all areas!!

Does anyone have a good mechanic that doesn't charge an arm n a leg thats around Melbourne or SE Melbourne?

Thanks...

best to get the auto done at a good transmission specialist rather than a general mechanic and the transmission needs to be done first as this is your problem area

Seeing you give no indication of where you are, it's a bit hard to make any recommendation. Open the Yellow pages and let your fingers do the walking.

So you did. Still can't help. I'm in canberra!

But the Yellow pages would be a start anyway. Ring a few mechanics and get some rough prices, and go from there. Perhaps G&D or someone like that - I think they're out your way.

BHM Automotive in Powlett St, Moorabbin are very competent and honest, they've been maintining the ambulance fleet down that way for years, and also my companies' cars for a while too.

Cheers.

I use Fluidrive in Coburg. Been very happy with their service and the way Dino explains absolutely everything you could possibly want to know.

All the best with it.
