They seem like a good upgrade for anyone with a S1. Don't know much about them, so how do they compare to the S2/3 brakes?

That's a good question, and I'll bet JC would have an answer to that one, or at least a good opinion on it!

In any case, they'd be heaps better than the stock crapola S1 items! My S2 brake upgrade is sooooo much better than the old gear. I wonder how this would have gone though? It would have actually worked out cheaper by a little bit! Actually, the same once the rotors are factored in. The Tickford emblems would be nice though! There's just something great about that emblem. LOL!

They're a big improvement over the regular series 2 & 3 brakes, they are stiffer & use a larger rotor (329mm by 28mm) & pad. They were available as on option on series 2 & 3 XRs & were used on the T2 & T3s but they mounted up differently.

My T1 still gets the Tickford pads and rotors. I've just replaced the fronts for about $1,400, can't remember individual prices but rotors aren't too cheap.

Well as far as i know what you would need is the caliper mounts(if there is anything like that). Also brake lines. Thats what i know that we need. Maybe others on here can let us know what else we need. What you see in the Picture is what get.
The calipers have a little bit of surface rust but which is normal but can not be seen when calipers are on the car.

You should be able to get some PBR rotors for cheaper.
