Exclamation XM falcon sprint V8

Hi everyone. This is my first time here so please excuse me if i make mistakes.Anyway,at our business at the Glod Coast my friend and i have come across what appears to be a factory genuine XM falcon coupe with 260V8 fitted from the factory. It was a one owner car until now and it is badged as a Jubilee sprint V8 from the factory also. The car is entirely original and unmodified except for the carbie. Can anyone please help with verification and translation of the factory stampings or if someone has any information whatsoever please call Jay on 0423951022 or e-mail me on jayskidz@hotmail.com.Please call anytime night or day because we are very keen to work out what it's story is and also what it is worth. The car is registered and drives perfectly and is very quick.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!Also this car has not been converted from left to right hand drive,so it is not an American car.HELP!!

On second thoughts, are you sure its not a Fairlane Compact? They can kind of look similar.

There was recently a couple of articles on this in Australian Muscle Car magazine... Brand new XM/XP's delivered to a company in Melbourne (I think?) for V8/auto conversions. They did something like 15 all up. Will check it out when I get home.

Bill Warner Sprint copy, built about november 1965. Bill bought brand new unreg 2drs, fitted 260 or 289 in later cars and returned unused motor/trans for credit.1st car used the 260 I believe, $1700 brand new,inc twin tailpipes. Wheels magazine did a feature on them. JC They had 1 of the exhaust manifolds turned around to clear the steering box in the Australian built cars

Price now $30k. I reckon that is cheap for a car that is close to unique.

If it's anything like the mis-described junk that bloke usually sells, I wouldn't touch it - Search AFF for "factory black ZH" and see what turns up...

Hah, that used to be my car... was never factory black, was Daimler Blue or something... its amazing what a bit of paint and some bling wheels will do.
