And its not even a GT... People are going stupid with coupe prices.

Fair enough they are less common and everyone wants one, but $15,000 for a pile or iron oxide with a build plate on it?

Some people have no idea...

I would say the only offers would be to tow it away for free, rat the small amount of what ever MAY be salvageable and dump the rest.

Even as far as the coupe body goes, that one looks like they found it at the bottom of a lake.

Wishful thinking on old mates part :

YOu guys lack imagination, the plates can be used to rebirth another plain but good coupe, transfer anything useful, buy the missing bits, assemble and resell. Some sucker buys a "genuine" numbers matching classic. Nah nobody would do that would they.

I saw HK Bathurst Monaro plates only go for $20k (didn't even bother to try and pass it off as a car sale). Imagine what genuine GTHO plates would go for to rebirth a good replica (plates @ $??k plus somebodies all genuine parts replica @ $70k = "genuine" GTHO and $200k-$500k. Nah nobody would do that.

With a bit of chicken wire and bog nothing is impossible!

All though maybe surviving a crash is another story, or going at 100 without it falling to bits, or....
