Hi Guys.
Here we go. Adam of Kurnell Kustoms has kindly taken on the task of creating this much awaited bonnet for the EF and EL series of falcon and is ready to start making the moulds now. For those of you who do not know Adam is a discription written by him on previous work he has completed: "To those of you who are interested in this product I will just give a brief rundown of who I am and what I set out to achieve so you know who you are putting confidence in. My name is Adam Keen. I was heavily involved in the development of the AWC business and its products. When the business was left struggling, I ensured that customer orders were fulfilled as promised. I was directly involved in the R&D, plug work, moulding and production of the XR50 front bar, Drift bonnet, AU low series boss bonnet, AWC hard cover, and the pursuit quad pipe rear bar. At this stage I will be mainly focusing on bonnets (EF/EL boss bonnet, AU high series boss bonnet, and FG boss bonnet), but will also conduct other projects (one being the completion of the TS50 wagon rear bar)" As you all know a previous attempt at organising a supplier for this project never really got off the ground, so this is for those of you who are a little hesitant to jump on board. All of you that showed a previous interest in the project have been emailed so now it is time to post up some information and names on the public forums so that everyone can see that this is really going ahead. Details: EF - EL Fibreglass Boss Bonnet (ie with BA Bulge) The price for the bonnet will be $750 including gas struts, making a 50% deposit payment of $375, then a final payment before dispatch of your bonnet (freight at extra cost). The last quote from the previous attempted supplier of $650 was PLUS struts. This price will include a grille for the Fairmont owners (which Adam would appreciate input on design), but only for the initial deposit placers, grille will be at extra cost after completion of the bonnet for new customers. Those of you who already have expressed an interest, or who are now interested please post your name on here (screen name) and send an email to Adam directly expressing your interest. Adam has a registered ABN and will issue you with an invoice if you decided to go ahead. enquiries@kurnellkustoms.com.au www.kurnellkustoms.com.au - under construction. Personally as most of you will know I am cheering about this, and can't wait to get mine on the car!! So thank you to all that have shown an interest I hope more do! Cheers CHOCA Last edited by Choca; 15-05-2008 at 10:43 AM. |

Good to see Falkeen getting back into what he does best.
Does this mean we can now go see him again for all the AU stuff we want made? Cheers

cant tell you at this stage what the clearance is am not doing the EL GLi style bonnet at this stage, but assume the EF bonnet would suit with modification to the leading edge around the grille... thanks MN Adam |
