Default i6 or v8 sound files

Hello there!

Wasen't sure where to post this thread.

I'm making a film for class which involves my AU, and just wanted to see if anyone had any sound files of either an i6 or v8 accelerating hard which I could use?

Thank you

Did you want the sound file from inside the car? From outside the car, chasing? Or from outside the car in a fixed position?

I have an I6 with an exhaust that I could record if needed.

broken_suave, It's gotta be from inside preferably and from a fix outside position.

OED_666, That's not to bad actually from the youtube clip. I'll possibly use that thanks

I've got two videos which I'm doing which invovles from car(the sounds are for the second one)...

I'll be sure to post them up when I'm done, but don't expect anything professional ;)

So you want the sound of the car accelerating away? Like you would hear if you were standing on the street?

I can do a few recordings for you anyway.

This is a video of my exhaust.

Incidentally, what class is this for? Highschool FTV or Uni/TAFE?

And when is the due date?

That sounds pretty good, nice and clear

Yep that's exactly what I was after, just the car accelerating, standing from the street, and possibly an in car one which will be required from my second film. (second one is a group assignment and there's changes here and there lol)

I'm doing Cert IV In Multimedia but wanted to get into the advanced diploma this year. I did previous multimedia courses (upto diploma) but it wasn't programmed/structured well so gotta go do this one at a different place.

The first one is due on Tuesday, working on it now in class as we speak, It's a day in the life of my car. I've made sounds from my car (for the first film) but found it hard to get it while using the sound recorder area my campus. But managed to use different car sounds for different scenes and made them match.

The other one is an anti hoon campaign and would defiantly need for that one. Possibly an in car one as well. With the inc car scene I'm going to plant my foot on the accelerator (have the car not running) then you'll hear the acceleration.
This is due in 2 weeks.

If I was to use your sounds then I would put it on the credits lol

but yeah sorry if I didn't explain well enough I'm just tired as and thank you very much!

I'm doing some test recordings at the moment. Assuming I get a nice clean sound clip, I'll send you an assortment.

I'm having trouble with my mic getting a good clean outside sound clip, but I can get a clean inside clip. When did you need it by?

Yeah I won't be needing it at all thanks

Annnywwayyss here's my first video, all the sound effects were pre recorded on a sound recorder so not all the sounds are perfect..and just noticed the intro sound doesn't sound right when you listen to it on good speakers (didn't have access to at tafe)
