hey mate,
on the premo sound system you get an in dash 6 stacker CD and cassette, tweeters in the a pillars, an amp and an 8" free-air subwoofer on the rear parcel shelf. So all up it's like 7 speakers, but Ford claim it to be 11 speaker elements . Pretty decent factory sound i gotta say. Hope this helps Cheers, Julza

Don't know if thay are the same speakers, but I do know that the Prem system is rated at 250Watt which is higher then the standard system.

The premium systems got Pioneer coaxial two ways in the front and rear. The standard cars got dual cones for the speakers.

It must have, as it is an 11 speaker element system. 2 x 2way in the front = 4 elements 2 x 3way in the back = 6 elements 1 x free air sub = 1 element Total of 11 elements.
