Also are the au one's the same as ba & bf or are they different. might have to get a second hand one from wreckers (if can find one) as don't want to be without the car for a week.

AU is a breed unto itself as it's a fully self contained cradle that is the IRS. BA on is the Control Blade system where the IRS is fixed to the body. Upshot is that AU is different to BA on.
I'm also going to say you are the lucky one because it's usually the the upper shock mount that goes most often. Next on the list would be the upper control arm outer rose joint or the wheel bearings chopping out.

well stripped it down yesterday and the toe rods are stuffed but were not the main problem, the wheel bearing has let go. problem being no one has them in stock. repco sell the bearings by them self but they say there is two, one with a 10mm spacer and another with a 13mm spacer but cant tell me which one I need. the list go's on so now relacing the toe adjusters, wheel bearing and the top and bottom outer bushes. anyone know which bearing fits the rear?????

The upper outer isn't a bush, it's a rose joint and you won't find one for AU. You have to use a BA one which is not quite as wide so spacers or washers are required.
