Very nice, interior is certainly a step up from the current one (except the tacked on screen).
good work again Ford.

That looks terrible vs the current ST.

I'm not a new fan of the new generation Fiesta, its too soft vs the old one.

Its a step backwards.

I wouldn't call it a nothing car, I have the ego sports and it's a great little car and cheap to run. Have no problem cruising at 110km on the freeway. It's perfect for a second car or little run around, even drove it from Adelaide to the Gold Coast through flood waters and never missed a beat. Just a shame some people think all cars should be a show stopper V8 that can run rings around a F1 car..
Not having a go at you just sticking up for my little car lol.

This. The Fiesta is a ripper of a car, and I'd get one over a Kia Stinger any day of the week. There's more to what makes a good car than the wheels that do the driving and the number of cylinders it has.

I'm confident that the Fiesta will be here, but the question is 'when'.

G'day , Fair enough.I'll take your word for it seeing you have one.
I'll rephrase it. It's a car I'd never even consider. Sorry..
Maybe 'nothing' car is a bit harsh though.. Genuinely pleased you enjoy yours.
Cheers Rod.

I don't know what it is about Ford styling nowadays. All the attributes are there for it to be good looking - but taken as a whole I just get the feeling of 'meh'. It's not just this car, the whole Ford passenger range just doesn't do it for me. I'm hoping Ford will move away from this design language sooner rather than later.

Really

I think it's the best it's been in a long while...

Mustang better than previous model and most other 2 doors.

Mondeo way better than previous model and most direct rivals.

Focus way better than previous model.

Fiesta way better than previous model.

Escape better than the feminine looking Kuga and doesn't have a stupid name.

Looks are always subjective though.
I love the look of the new Focus ST front, rear is terrible.
New Fiesta is a little soft compared to the old one IMO but for a 3 cylinder turbo it sounds bloody good i reckon, slight hint of RS note in there and it looks pretty good too imo.
If i wasnt looking at something more suited to lifestyle a new Fiesta ST would be on the list for sure.

I like the big wheels! I think I'd prefer the 5 door. The girl's car is a 3 door hatch, and I think we'd both prefer some back doors.

The interior looks like a vast improvement over the current Fiesta, and a Ford with a decent sound system? That would be lovely.

Promotional clip. A good one, I might add.

Part of the reason why the ads are crap here compared to other places is the nanny state we live in. People complain over the tiniest of things and they get banned. This clip would never make it on TV here.

Settle petal, I think he means "his girls car" and he/they would prefer 5 doors

Typically childcare centres aren't open on the weekends anyways, so what's the issue? Oh I forgot. Weekends are the times you have the family on board so extra doors are nice.
