Hi I've just spent the last hour trying to find a thread on here that listed production numbers of rarer (sub 500 built) Australian Fords. I thought it was titled "how rare is your Falcon" or something like that. It had build numbers for single digit build cars (T3 TL50) up for the hundreds (ED XR8 Sprints).
If anyone can direct me to the post I'd be most grateful because not being able to find it is doing my head in.

Hi I’m trying to find the production numbers for the ED XR8 1993 and 1994. Just the XR8, not the sprint. Anyone have these numbers? |

I don't think the Sprint number is right here.
2600 FGX XR8 (inc 1600 Sprints) From memory it was around ~550 XR8, ~750 XR6 and some (~150) XR8 for NZ. Too long ago now - I will have to look at my notes, unless some here has access to the data? |

I thought it was 750 XR8's (425 auto and 325 manual) with another 100 for NZ, plus 500 XR6 (plus 50 for NZ)

Another rare model that often gets overlooked is the 1971 Falcon 500 Kcode (351 2V) with a production number of only 669 vehicles. 530 being manual trans.139 being automatic trans. Thanks to GPMitch for sending me this build number information.

Just wondering if the original thread from outback ute has been updated regarding production numbers?
I have several ford verification letters but not sure if the numbers are correct as I've heard some details in them can be wrong. I have 2 manual xh panel vans in my collection, one red & one white. Cheers guys & thanks. |

I believe that's total over S2 & S3, (S3 was 02 built and have skirts where S2 doesn't.).

No way there was 1996 EL V8 wagons made. Maybe total EL wagons? But that sounds low.

1 NB Fairlane that I own.
This popped on the E series facebook page today. Shows a wheel labelled NB Fairlane Sportsman and perhaps more evidence they intended going to production of an NB mode. This used to hang behind the parts counter at my local Ford dealer and I asked for a Part for an NB and they said there was no such mode I would point at it. Eventually after some liaison with Ford the started to acknowledge its existence and even told me that the parts catalogue on their computer had some annotations about parts unique to the ca. But they wouldn't disclose more and the only part that was unique and I needed and they were able to get was a molded hose that ran from the thermostat housing to the firewall where a metal pipe was used in the models before and after.
