Has anyone had to replace a door lock actuator on an LZ Focus?
Have searched eBay, etc, but not having much luck finding anyone with stock at the moment. The RHS rear failed yesterday, and we cannot close the door now :( Hoping RACV or a mobile auto elec can at least give me a temp fix to shut but not lock/unlock the door until I can get it replaced. Fortunately, we can get away without using the car for a few days, and the car is at home in the garage. |

There are two types of locks on the rear of LZ. One with manual child lock or one with electric child locks. Which do you have?
If your not sure pass on your VIN and we can confirm. We can then see if we can find you one. |

Electric child locks link to pic: This is hitting the latch on the body, and cannot close the door. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pgd...usp=share_link Last edited by steve289; 24-04-2023 at 07:15 AM. |

Are you sure the child lock is not on not allowing you to command the lock open with remote or by hand. Check that first. Otherwise you will need to remove the door trim and have a better look. Without a VIN I believe you need part number CM5AR26412CC. Had a look around and see your in Melbourne. It looks like Bayford Ford in Campbellfield have one. Hope that helps. GT |

that stuck latch in the door does not move, regardless of child locks on or off, or anything else I can try.

So based on that VIN, the part number below is correct. Try Bayford or if not let me know and I can try and source you one. The are around $160 plus postage.

All good, ordered from my local dealer (Jeff Wignall in Frankston) this morning, and have just picked up. They ordered it in for me this morning, and turned up with them at around 3.30 this afternoon.
Also managed to finally order the 'all weather front floor mats' for my ZH Escape. Really appreciate your help with the item code, will arrange for a local mobile auto elec to get it fitted later this week when the wife is working from home. |
