...and suburbs are pretty good, Shannon Ave has had a bit of investment and traffic is crazy, and it's trying to do a Pako. Down on the coast busy as, cafes and restaurants in high demand. As for car sales, seeing new Prado about, see lots of high end stuff too.

Yep. 3525 to October 31 for the year, then 3590 in November. Money for jam for Toyota.

I think I read somewhere that they expect to deliver over 30000 in the next 12 months.

Ford organised additional shipping, so I don’t see why Toyota wouldn’t have already done that too. |

let’s hope Toyota fixed the Regen issue From what’s been said most of these deliveries are for customers that have been waiting like, six months or more so many are getting an early Christmas present. Hopefully another two ships are in before then. |

Wouldnt surprise me. Not content with the 4wd influencers all worshipping at the altar of Troopy, they're now giving them Prados. I wonder how many sheeple will buy one now that Ronny Dahl has....

In fact, remove RAV4, Prado and Hi-Lux numbers, and Toyota are still in first place. Too easy.

Toyota back over 20,500 but surprisingly, Ford put in 8,720 so win win for both brands.

EV sales are in a deep hole, but hybrids sales are up. It will be interesting to see how the Ranger PHEV goes.

Toyota ticked all the boxes to get People lining up out the door.
Bigger, Less 2nd Row Knee Room, Higher Rear Floor, Heavier, Slower, Fiddly Infotainment System, Smaller Fuel Tanks, Around 10k More Expensive.

As a future Everest owner, I actually welcome the Prado, Tasman, Shark, et al to the marketplace. The better the Prado is, the more it competes with the Everest. In turn, this pushes Ford along to provide better vehicles and helps keep prices in check. Like maybe an Everest PHEV?
Shark gets 10,000 expressions of interest??? You beauty, helps keep Ranger prices in check. As for whether the new Prado is good or bad ... it is way too early to tell. There are a lot of "influencers" out there hungry and hunting for Prado clickbait for their social media channel. To be honest, most of them are drongos who could not care less if their "experience" is a true representation of the vehicle. For example, the couple who hooked up a brand new Prado to a 2500 kg van, without giving the vehicle a chance to run in. Then pulled the rig across the Nullabor, into a headwind, and bitched about the fuel consumption. (One can bet they don't give the Prado an intermediate oil change either.) Opinions on the new Prado will be extreme ends of the spectrum: worst vehicle ever or best vehicle ever. No realistic assessment that falls in the middle. The next comment is not trying to sound callous to those who work in the automotive industry: but I think it is a longer-term good thing that some of the excess steam is now coming out of the new car market. |

People need to stop shit canning the opposition and excusing Fords short comings because all it does is creates a place for complacency. Praise the opposition and welcome choice to force improvement and competition in pricing. Far too many apologists that are drtrimental in reality. |
