Default EL XR6 Hole?

Im in the process of wiring up driving lights on the EL XR6.
I cannot for the life of me find a hole in the firewall to feed a wire through for the switch.
Does anyone know where I might find one, or where I can feed a wire through the firewall?

Cheers

Ive ran alot of my wires thru the firewall where the main loom enters the cabin ;)

Use the hole where majority of the wires feed through already. Its located just under your brake booster. It may be a tight squeeze but, this is the only hole I recommend to use. The wires feed through a rubber sleeve fitted on the firewall.

OK I'll give it a go tomorrow evening....only one wire needs to fit through.
I've just fitted the lights to the front....had to make up custom brackets as there is NOWHERE to mount the damn things...luckily there was a flat part of metal above and behind the light to fix the bracket to.

Drill a nice fat hole through the steering column plate ;)

I did that (well, I did more than just drill *one* hole) when putting a cable thru the firewall

DONE!!!!

I ended up using the accelerator cable hole, was easy to access and had plenty room....

Im very pleased with the results!!

I still need to tidy up the wires a bit. And the light shines under the car at the front, almost looks like white neons or something LOL, I'll need to try and block that off a bit.

I might try hacking up the vent cover that I removed, to block up the hole on the outside of each light, make it look a bit more snug....but I'm quite pleased with the result!

I got htese ones from Repco, they had a good sale on recently, 20% off all driving lights.
They are Narva ones from memory, were about $150.
