Default Progaraming a new smartlock remote

as the title sugests i just purchased a smartlock remote for my mums ef fairmont wagon from ebay..

i was wondering how you program them to that car??

ok mate, this is what it sais in my manual:

Switch the vehicle ignition on the OFF position then switch to the ACCESSORY position then press and release the boot release botton in the dashbord 3 times within 5 seconds.

The doors will locks to indercate it is in learn mode.
Now press the door button on the key pad the doors will operate twice. then the remote will work!

almost correct, i found it on fordmods. its what you said but its the rear demister button 3 times

it worked for my eb maby it's because mines an eb not a ef wagon!
