Default Opportunity to edit your BA by Leading Vic tuner

Just letting you all know that Chris is comming to brisbane and the Gold cost to Edit 3 XR club members cars (Noddy, the Don and myself). If you would like one of the best tuners in Australia to tune your car while he is in town, then add your name to the list. A date has not been confirmed as of yet, However the more numbers we get the sooner Chris will will come up to work is magic on our much loved car's.

Just got off the phone with Chris. The word is 99% chance of it being a yes. they have all the gear and info to Edit tune the AU's it just a matter of the USA sending over the code and giving the all clear to go ahead and Chris believes that is only day's away. Noddy has been Marked as a definitely on getting the AU Edit and will probably be the first in QLD with a AU Edit.

Hey Matt

Put me down for this, I will get my GT done - anything to help my car beat the Gecko! Someone has to beat him and seeing as how you have failed already - looks like its up to me! :P

Cheers, Tori

It will all depend on the numbers, But it will be about $1650 for the box thermostat and clamps for the T/F6's and 3 tunes and similarly priced for the N/A cars AU included. If you all ready have a flash box it will be about $795, again that is for Thermostat and clamps for the turbos + 3 tunes. These prices are only an indication, Chris will add a post in the next few days with the hard fact's and figures. At the moment we are gauging the interest so that we can give you a more accurate price. obviously the more the merrier.

Greetings guys,

Sorry for the late respone, have been working the entire weekend.

I will be heading up to the sunniest state to do some tuning, the prices quoted above are really a ballpark only. If we can get 15 cars, it will affect the price, making it a lot cheaper.

Unfortunately, travelling to tune is an expensive option. After costs, there is very little margin left, so we have to try and get as many as we can. Also, hiring a dyno interstate when we already have a unit bought and paid for down here is also an expensive proposition.

Currently we have XR8's and GT's ranking the quickest and fastest in the country, with many "firsts" to our credit. We are hoping for this to continue in queensland, where I have been the guest of Matthew Knell, and Don turner. Matt took me to the V8 breakfast at seaworld last year, and I had a great time, and was quite taken aback by how hardcore you guys love your fords...

Be in touch - anyone can place an expression of interest here, and we will get closer to a final date.

SYKES, Chris Is probably the most experience ford turner in Australia. His R&D work is above most other tuners and He is constantly using his own BA XR8 as a Test muel. Chris has deep contacts with in ford and is also a tuner for one of the Ford brute Utes..... There's a lot more I can say But I don't want Chris's head to explode :

I should note that Chris does not tune the Motec, as they are a sealed box and has a tune in it all ready that is to set by the regulations of the Brute ute series. What Chris's roll is, is he does all the Dynoing and analyzing.

Had the privilage of Chris Tuning mine - Absolute Bang for buck - halves the old $100p/rwkw modding rule....
The difference is extrordinary - recommended must for any and all modders out there....with minimal mods on my car and the tune from Xtreme = 256rwkw..... More mods more room he has to get more rwkw - more cars to tune the cheaper the cost.

Will this be suitable for my EL? as it has a simular ECU to the AU? oh and mine is a I6 with a few mods. Chiptorque said with a chip i would only gain 1.5rwkw.
id like to know if it would be worth it. :

Vegabass, we are as yet unsure if SCT will be supporting the earlier falcons, although we are pushing for it.

We should have AU capability by then, so it will be BA's and AU's for now. Should we be able to do earlier vehicles, we will arrange a return visit, although its never hard to twist my arm enough to get me to QLD!!

Location for Dynoing and tuning will be Brisbane area, exact place is not yet confirmed.

Date is hinged on the release of the AU Edit which is days away. Once the AU Edit is release Chris will book his ticket up here and will be staying for a week, It looks as it might be around the end of NOV early DEC. I will let you all know that Chris is doing his utmost best to push the SCT guys to fast track the release of the AU Edit, and I can say with the certainty that you AU owners will be the first lot in QLD to have the edit, if not Australia...

Hey Matt

So we have 6 definites and a handful of maybes…

In order to turn these maybes in to definites looks like we need to narrow down a few details like When and Where and How Much?

Where? Somewhere in Brissy so Coasties will need to travel up or down.

When? Chris can you narrow this down for us?? Is it possible to get some dates – even if approx – may help people make a decision?

How Much? Cost I think is a bit of a variant. But what price do you put on the satisfaction of knowing that your cars performance is at its most optimum level?!

Cheers, Tori

Because Dean, I am spoilt and greedy and will not be parting with the GT.

Every girl needs two cars - esp a pink ute with a sunroof! _2: Don't you think?

Hey Tori,

I have been speaking to a few Queenslanders this morning - trying to pinch some more sunshine..............

Looks like at this stage we will be dropping the price to $1500, if we can get another 6 or so, it will drop by possibly another $50 to $100 each easy.

AU edit is go.

Anyone concerned with their mods on their cars can feel free to PM me their number, and im quite happy to make contact and chat about it.

Best Regards

Chris
