Oh no, fuel consumption. I've just got GPS unit cheap one from Dick Smityh. Am going to compare the average speed feature to the average speed on our Fairmont E series and above. (Ha ha, XRs never got these) Let you know the results.

I've just started to get mine to a reasonable level - 13L/100km. I boot it pretty much everywhere, but I've started doing a lot more Freeway driving (change of job location). That must be why she's coming down a bit.

I get nothing less thatn 15l/100 km.
Doesnt matter if i baby it, if i smash it, it gets even worse. Best out of a tank was 415km when i did a trip to geelong and back.

its all about throttle openings and momentum in my book if you ease off a bit try and time the lights, less gear changes and fuel thirst will decrease heaps, hills and lights kill economy and lead feet, do what (owner)semi drivers do as soon as lights turn red foot off start coasting to a stop, dont chuck it back a cog or kick it down unless you need too, brakes last longer economy goes up all good.

I don't know I have CPI and I drove from the goldcoast home (around 330kms) then back into town (60kms) and only used half a tank..and on the way home had to go up the toowoomba range. The whole time I had my a/c on (except up the range). I have an EAII with a 72L tank.
