i pretty much got the same response when i asked a similar question of this in the transmission section : i was told that the rip shift was a very reliable and common buy! come on guys there must be someone out there with a quick shifter... _2:

i think last time i asked they were over 350bux for a b&m ripper shifter. i just cut mine down, but i will buy a short throw soon.
do you just want a shorter stick or do you want a proper short shifter? http://www.awcinfo.com/secureshop/ca...php?cat_id=382 or if any one knows weather ef/l ones fit ea-ed there 10bux cheaper.

I have a B&M Ripper Shifter, but unfortunately I can't tell you much as it's still in the box! It was purchased for $330 about 18 months ago and i've been told they have been out of production for a while.

I want a proper short shifter, not just a cut down stick.

Yeah I know the SVO shifter is a bit cheaper then the Herrod.
Do you know if the Herrod one is any better though?? I think at this stage I will go the SVO option, as from what I hear not many have much experience with any of them, and I can't see the benefit of paying the extra money for the Herrod unit, specially if its not dramatically better. |

yeh i seen the SVO ones on ebay, $400 odd new which isnt bad compared to the rest i guess. Aussie Car Enhancements sell the Rip Shifts for $499.
Id love a quick shifter in mine but i keep thinkin of all the other stuff i could buy for that price!
