Question Ef Economy Light

Just got an EF Fairmont and I have noticed that the Economy light dont come on, just a globe or an indication of other problems? Any help appreciated

most likely a globe.
does the car drive differently when u switch the econ switch (should change gears earlier)
my globes gone.. car drives fine :P

Yeah it does change when you press the switch so it sounds light just a globe thankfully. Thanks for the help
