How's it going?
Just picked up a Fairmont instrument cluster for my ea falcon, i was told by a mate that the wiring loom would be there to fit it but i can't find it. Does anyone know where it would be tucked away? there is sort of 3 plugs on the back of the cluster but i can only find two sets of wiring? thanks |

what model is your car currently, as the looms are different between, gli, s-pac/fairmont and ghia.

i found a great tute on fordmods about the general wiring and classification of the diff clusters. it just means i have to rewire a bunch of stuff on the back of the new cluster but quite do-able.

What kind of cluster is it? Digital or analogue speedo? Is it from an EA?
Chances are you will need to run a wire for the tacho if it's an EA S/Fairmont dash. If it's a Ghia dash there would be more fun again. |

Plus if it is a digital dash you will have to set up the doors so you know which one is open on the display :hihi:

Finally finished today, the speedo took for ever to work out mainly cause the dash wasn't sending a voltage back to the VSS.
