Most Dyno joints will specialise in the testing and diagnosing of:
• Electronic fuel injection • Carburettors • Ignition systems • Diesel systems • Fuel systems • LPG/Propane • Engines and Engine systems • Computer mapping • Turbochargers and Superchargers • Drive lines • Manual and Automatic transmissions • Speedometers • Cooling systems • Vibrations • Noises • Routine road testing If they check your power curve and find that there is a loss of power, they are very experienced and will be able (in most cases) to tell you where the problem is and how to fix it. |

you can see on the power curve what the A/F rats are doing... This will indicate where the prob is, or narow it down at least.

if its rattling and there is no power, its the cat mate. im gettin my car back today from the mechanics, i needed a new cat and exhaust to pass epa. the cat was $220 for a high flow. dont know the brand yet. and that is just supplied, cos i dont pay labor from the bloke that looks after me.

hmmm ok, ill probly look into gettin a new cat, each time i turn on the car, it just goes buerk, prity oud rattle. when i pop her into drive it goes away
is this because the cat is clogged up or something, or al the stuff inside is just like dead as well, is it worth the high flow cat? |
