If the outside temp is 36 and the inside temp is 40, and I set the climate control to 32 degrees auto, will it cool the car down to 32, or will it produce maximum heat?

it will give you maximum heat i would suggest! I know my climate control does lol

same as if its 10degrees outside and u put it on 16degrees it will still do max aircon.

The climate control will look at the data coming from all is sensors and decide what to do. So, if it's 40 outside and lets assume the incar sensor is reading 40 or higher and you have it set to 32, it is going to go into cooling mode until its satisfied the set condition has been met.
This is also assuming its blend door is working properly...

but when u go to its maximum upper ... it goes full hot and if u go to its lowest temp it goes max cold...

That's the whole point of Climate control....it controls the climate.
You set it to 32C, it does what it has to to get the car down to 32C, it controls the climate. |

Personally I would think it should cool down the car to 32 whilst in Auto mode, however when I turn auto off and switch to manual I get maximum heat. Is it just me, or is this stupid? Personally I've hated my climate control. I've found it quite stupid. Bring back the dial and levers ha ha.

the 32 and 16 settings change to "manual" mode and put out full heat/cool. its there as a failsafe if theres a malfunction with sensors, etc.
set it to 31? which is still ИИИИing hot! |

The climate control is alot smarter than I thought.
I've probably been using mine the wrong way.
