Hi guys,I have an AU1 with weather shields on both sides which I want to remove.I removed the drivers side one but it has left partly dried up double sided stickey tape around the door frame.What is the best way of removing this mess?Please help.

acetone works well , but be quick about it and wash the paintwork after your done so you dont ruin it . rub really lightlly - be carefull ! .. U know what nail polish remover does to paint on chick nails ! - nail polish remover is full of acetone + a bit of oil.

If you don't trust yourself with acetone then just get some 'bug & tar' remover , like you use on the front bumbers & grill etc , that works fine too . ;)

Tried Bug and tar remover but with no success. I am now trying Eucalyptus oil and that seems to be working with a lot of elbow grease as well.Many thanks

Try Orange Power sticky spot and goo remover, used it to take rego lable off and stick stuff I used to put weather shield on with, bought it at Woolies
