just got overtaken by a rex on a long straight, shouldve gone up a gear.
pulled away at first though! good old 2nd gear

but then im an auto..

i hate rexs.

Don't mind the WRX and the Skyline, besides from being fully sick maaate.
They are bloody fast, sorry to say but the old falcon motor is a wee bit too sluggish to take them on.
It's the civic's and other little crap with drain pipes hanging out the back that really ИИИИ me off.

Been harassed by ricers, or harassed ricers? ;) Most of the time they're too far behind to hear their comments.

WRX's are sloooow, 155Kw stock for MY94-MY98 (on 12psi too), AWD helps off the line, but sucks everywhere else.

I wouldnt go around saying rexys are 'sloooow' when your advertising the fact your car got a 15.47@89.9MPH. Thats about a full second slower than a standard wrx.

I wouldn’t call someone going past you in a faster car ‘harassing’. Stockish Rex’s and R32-33’s are fair game nowhere near as quick as people make them out to be.

They're supposed to be 14.3-14.5 stock, so that's far enough in front of a slightly modded Falcon as is.

Trust me they dont do 14.3's stock when in the hands of your average driver. To get those times from a rex requires a box destroying launch. WRX owners (especialy the ones who have rebuilt a box or two) do NOT launch on the street in the same mannor it takes to run the low 14's they claim. R32's are just pure jokes in stock form, absolute jokes be lucky to run 15.0. 33's will run mid 14's easy as pie, however if you get the jump on them you can hold them quite easly.

Not much. But they are totally different engines/cars, you can't even begin to compare them.

I harass them, with a 1.1 ton trailer on the back of the ute......and have never been beaten....now how good was it wiping the smile of the ****er in the R8 commo the other day....lol

here here, its amazing what a falcon can do pulling a boat... i chopped a rexy from castle hill to wisemans ferry, and when i got out of my car at the boat ramp, the chick winds down her window almost crying saying what the ИИИИ.

granted pickup i was chopped, but i had the moves baby! lol

not sure what mods he had....at least a cannon muffler

$14k the EF set me back 3 years ago (When EF XR8's were at least 20k), $1000 for exhaust and extractors, $200 for underdrive pulley. I'm not saying it's a rocket, but I have beaten R33's, WRX's, Soarers etc in it.

the ute cost me 13 000 2 years ago and ive spent just under 6000 on go fast mods since. But to be fair when u think about what they get for their money in mods compared to some of us, it seems both are getting pretty similar performance gains for the money spent.Mid 15secs-low 14s and low 14sec-mid 12secs. Both about 1an a bit sec gains.

I try to be unbiased about these things so when we sit here an bag ricers i think of what they must be saying about us...NAH THEY GOT NOTHIN

Well my car cost me $4700 with all these mods already put on. I raced my mates gtst, it was only stock with a boost controler running an extra 2 pounds of boost than stock and i just beat him. He's spent over $12000 on that. Now for a half price N/A car to keep up with it i thought it was pretty impressive.

People who drive 'rice' cars think they are one step ahead of you even without racing. I love it when i rev my car and they think im going to go for it, they spin the wheels and speed off down the road, whilst im still making my way slowly from the lights.

LOL! i do the exact same thing. Other day had this old guy in a twin turbo 300zx let off flutters like 3 times. Caught up to him at the lights and kept slowly goina bit forward and then braking as if i was about to race him lol. lights went green and i hit the pedal and layed off, he went for it, in the process backfiring and i dont know what happened but alot of smoke came out of his exhaust and he pulled over, kaned it past him.. Best race ive ever had.

Civics gotta be the best to go against when it comes to ricers... they always think they will cain ya and when stall up the manual to 2.5g and let go off the line you can see the smiles fade in your rear view mirror. HEHE i really hate ricers!!
