righty-o, here are the rideheight measurements for my factory lowered EAII.
front crossmember (which lower wishbone attaches to): 110mm (NZ limit is 100mm) diff casing (lowest rear point except towbar): 175mm Are these the same settings as the factory lowering option on the EA/EAII Falcon S? I hope someone knows. PS: Sorry about starting a new thread on the subject instead of sticking with the old one. I'm still getting the hang of this. UPDATE 11/02/05: Right, here are some pics. sorry about the quality, they're taken with a cellphone. And a few people have asked, so I'll put the basics: EAII Fairmont (early 1990 build) 3.9L CFI, 4-spd auto, 3.08:1 diff (thanx to your help on this!) p/windows, p/mirrors, tints, lowered, a/c (removed before I purchased car) t-bar floor shift, towing package, 2 1/4" exhaust pipe (straight through), now has a boot spoiler, factory optional 15x7" JJ alloys with p205/65HR15 Goodyear Eagle GA's (considering upping to 215 or 225), late-run EBII steering wheel, pretty average cd/mp3 player. Interior is stock and yes, am saving for a re-paint in original colours (stark white) with maybe a blacked-out bonnet wedge for contrast.

sorry man, don't know what you're talking about. Not very computer literate. I work on cars instead.
If anyone can tell me how to join these 3 threads together I'll give it a go.

Dude the car's been lowered after being purchased, there was no factory lowering option on EA. You could either get the car raised for towing or country driving, or buy an S Pack which was 20mm lower than the base model GL and had beefier sway bars.
And what Neb said. Sundeep Last edited by Sundeep; 10-03-2005 at 04:01 PM. |

yeah that's what I thought. must have been done at the dealer who first sold it, as previous owners said it was lowered. hey. how'd the ED interior fit? any troubles or did it just go right in?
PS: pics coming soon, just gotta figure out how to post em. I'm a bit slow in computer-land. PPS: I'll stick with this thread, too. sorry about the first 2. I'm such a smeghead.

yeah its primer. car was a bit banged up when I got it - primer on drivers door, rear quarter panel under left tailight and a small patch above rear windcreen, but it only cost me $800. These pics are a few weeks old, now the patches are re-painted with white undercoat (a nearly complete match, but the car need a full repaint anyway) and has a new boot lid fitted with the factory low-profile spoiler that matches the bumper/side trim. Had to buy a new radiator ($250 coz I installed it meself) as well as change the head gasket, but all up it was worth it since the engine is mint.
Diff and rocker cover powdercoated Ford blue - front wheel hubs and brake callipers will be powdercoated shortly. EB s/wheel I got for $50 coz it had an XF wheel in it. Will post more (and better quality) photos A.S.A.P.
