It only cost me $50. I got 2 quotes and he was cheaper buy a $100 so yeah. I think he put it in acid then sanded/polished it not really to sure on the steps he used.

$50 from where?!!? Your location says you are from the Gold Coast, for the price you got it done it's cheaper for me to send my rocker cover to you, pay to get it polished and then give you money to send it back! lol

I just did mine, but by hand, using HyFin polish and elbow grease..

Here's a pic.

For $50, that's a bargain and it comes up a treat. I may even get a second one done.

far out, i'd nearly be willing to send my upper manifold to be done for that kind of price......

do you know if it needs to constantly be polished to keep it from tarnishing, or is it just going to stay like that ....

He said every now and then just go over it with a hand polish but he said a few people who have done this havent had any trouble with it.

I dropped it of at the polishers and i called him about 4days later when i had mums car to pick it lol.
