Cobalt rocks!
It's a pretty sweet car, it's done a little under 185,000 km's, i've picked it up for $6000 at new oak ford, it seems like a pretty sweet deal. As for mods, ahh, i think clear indicators, lowered, with an LSD and exhaust would do me fine for now. Ah yes, and the nudge bar has a date with the angle grinder. |

you could very well find that its bolted between the bumper and the chassis, 4 bolts to remove bumper...
check that before just goin sik with the grinder... |

That's very purple. I like that colour though.
Congrats, $6k is pretty good for an ED with relatively low ks. If you leave it stock, you'll have many km's of trouble free motoring... but you won't leave it stock, that's boring ;) Yeah, Gucci bits... all the bells and whistles. Really, not like that mental hyundai ad. |

Looks very spiffy! Should look really sweet with minor mods.
What made you decide to join the Blue Oval?

Hehe, yeah, i think the head has been done because there is a bypass coolant hose going to the back of the head.
I decided to join the blue oval cos i need something a lot cruisier than what my r31 was, and all the fords my mates own seem to be pretty reliable, which the r31 certainly wasn't. Yeah, it is very purple under bright light, nice and blue in the afternoon light :sm_headba

Welcome to the Forums! Are you from Melbourne/Surrounding areas?
If so there is a cruise on May 15th, would be a great chance for you to meet everyone and show off your new ride! Check out the E-Series Events & Meets section. :1syellow1 Krys.

Hmmm, after one day of ownership, i have a couple of questions....
1. The car pings terribly under load on petrol but not on gas, would this be due to advanced timing to run gas better? 2. The power windows seem to be a bit slow, any way to speed them up a bit? : the rear ones in particular are a bit slow, and the drivers one almost stopped (motor was off tho, but still...) I dunno, is it possible to get some grease in there or somethin to make em fly? I'm gonna take both up with the dealership, as they were meant to fix both (they did, but not well). Just in case i cant get them fixed, any ideas? EDIT - Ah yeah, how far off am i with the quote in my sig? Been a while since i actually played some Duke 3D. Shake it baby! :

power windows = silicone spray in the guides.. makes a huge difference.
the pinging deffinately sounds like the timing has been advanced, check it with a timing light.
